first off, whos the one doing the calling? him or you? There might be something troubling him, thats why hes not talking as much, or perhaps hes just been tired from school or work or whatever and needs some rest (seeing as you guys have been on the phone so late has deprived him of some sleep)! give him one night of rest and then see what happends, but dont let him drift to far!

Ask him if he still loves you. Take him out for dinner for two make it a romantic setting, Then talk about what he wants to talk about. Play some romantic silly games together. See if you can build the flames of desire. If not Give him space if he loves you he will come back. Maybe he feel like hes being tied down to much. Just try your best. Good Luck.

You don't have to stop talking to him...
Consult him first about his attitude in the past few days or week in a nice way...
Be honest about your feeling in order for him to know that u were hurt on his aloofness...
It''s really hard to be in that situation especially when u like or in love with that person...All you have to do is be urself and true to him...He maybe can't with you for always or cannot be together forever..at least you have done your best to care and value him...that's part of love... You have to sacrifice in order to find the true meaning of love..

Eventually guys run out of things to talk about. The phone is a real drag. If you want him to want you, limit your phone use to short spurts. And spend more time TOGETHER. I know what, send him a dirty, sexy email!! My girl did that for me, what a turn on. Plus she made the dream come true later on.

never try and make someone want you more... they end up moving further away from you. if its meant to be then it is. i dont really believe in fate but there always can be. if something happens or has happened you might wanna ask him about it other wise he'll think you don't really care

He could maybe just be scared of the commitment, or maybe on of his buddies said something. who knows, guys are 99% of the time on another planet, so your just gonna have to use disernment.
Maybe tell him your busy a couple times, that way he doesnt feel so tied down to talking to you?

omg, trust me, i had this SAME problem. only i did it the wrong way. the wrong way is to stop talking to him if he stops talking to you. he's probly just testing you or something. just keep talking to him, but dont like be obsessive about it. i hope it works out for you!

Don't call him. When you don't show interest, they wonder what's going on. It's not easy, but let him be the one to contact you.
