What kind of bumps? If you are talking about razor burn, it is simple to rid yourself of that. The most common problem when women (or men) get razorburn is that the skin is not properly prepped prior to shaving. Give your shave gel time to soften your skin before you go and apply the blade.
You might also be talking about the root of the hair behind your legs after you shave. The only way to get rid of that is to remove the hair at the root (i.e. waxing or plucking).

I get a lot of little ingrown hairs-like goosebumps, and just by accident- because I had a rash from using that new cold water laundry detergent, I used calamine lotion all over my legs and the rash AND the bumps went away. Hope that helps. Or you could try the traditional 2% salicylic acid body wash, but you have to continue to use it regularly, and it takes two weeks for any results.

If it's your thighs, are you sitting a lot during the day? seems like when I'm sitting a lot, I get those ingrown hairs, and they make bumps. It was really bad when I had a vinyl office chair for awhile.
