How heavy are the drinkers? If you all do not drink a lot then the 750 should be fine. If there are some heavy partiers then you will need a bit more

1 ounce of Crown is about 30 ml. (29.57350 if you need to be exact.)
So basically you have 25 ounce sized shots in a bottle. If your split evenly, you will have 5 ounce sized shots for each person.
When you go to a bar and get a Crown and Coke, you are getting (or should be) 1.25 ounces of Crown in your drink. Thats how much the larger end of the jigger holds. If they "free-pour" you might get a bit more or less.
I am assuming you've had Crown Royal before, as most people don't go buy a bottle if they've never had it. So you can pretty much assume that your bottle will create 5 Crown cocktails for each person. This may or may not be enough, depends on the people, what you are mixing it with, whether this is during a meal, and how fast you consume it.
If it were me and my friends, I would say no, for five of us staying in for the night with a planned dinner - I would suggest a second bottle.

750 ml is a "fifth." It equals about 5 shots for each of you.
So depending on your tolerances maybe. Personally a fifth of Crown is a 3 person or less affair. Drink it as shots with RC Cola, (Royal Crown - Crown Royal) or preferably nothing at all for chaser, maybe water, or don't drink it at all. To mix Crown is to bastardize and kill Crown. And regicide is a heavy offense.

A fifth is not enough whiskey for 5 people to have more than 2 light drinks each.
I would have another bottle at least.
I always keep a half gallon of Jim Beam on hand as a back up.

it really depends on how much everone is able to drink. If everyone is planning to get drunk one bottle won't be enough for 5 people. I'd suggest at least 2 bottles (or more)
If you just want to get happy, one might be enough. (estimate about 2.5 drinks per person with that bottle)

Depends on how much they drink. If they want more than two drinks; no, not in my town but I live in Texas and Texans are Big drinkers.

It is 1.5 litters. I would think that is enough to share amount 5 people to have a good time.

750 ml is enough if you want to be good and tipsy, but not enough to get sloshed.
