I know that you don't believe that could ever happen, but what would you do? IF it happened and there was just no question about it?

Say the Catholic Church released a very detailed history of how THEY made up and wrote the Bible. How that the Jews admitted to covering up the books of the Old Testament that revealed that the creation story and the stories of the Bible were all made up by story tellers?

What would you do IF your religion was absolutely, unequivocally shown to be completely made up - Jesus, Moses, Adam, Eve, Lucifer, Satan, Abraham - All of it?!?!

Wow, it is a good "what if" I seriously doubt that you will receive any truthful answers. After all, even Thomas Jefferson questioned God:

“Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve the homage of reason than that of blindfolded fear”
- Thomas Jefferson

First off it won't happen. If it did then I would not be a Christian if it was 100% false.

You've been duped by those idiotic shows claiming to have found the tomb of Christ. Ignoring the fact that something like that would have been made a HUGE pilgrimage site and people would know where it was, this is a dumb question. Its like asking if you were lied to about everything that happened in the past. Hitler won World War 2, the language spoken in the US is actually French, or any number of changes.

That won't disprove Christianity because Islam believes in the Prophets and Satan, too.

So, let's just say what IF Islam was proven false...? Then, you can conclude that God does not exist.

This is where you're faulty in your logic/assumption.

1. Explain how this universe works and exists and came to be exactly without the existence of God.
2. Not a single thing in Islam has been proven false yet.

It would be very difficult to prove it false, since it was never proven true. What proof do we have that everything happened as said in the Bible? These are stories written by a man's hand.

Religions are based on beliefs and people choose to believe what they feel to be true. I believe in Christianity because it is where my heart has lead me and because of the events that have touched my life.

If it were proven false I would continue to live the philosophies that are taught. Such as, love your neighbor as you would love yourself. The principles taught will lead me to inner-happiness and self-fulfillment even if there is no eternal reward.

Religion is man's way of reaching up to God on his own. True Christianity is about a relationship with Jesus Christ and is God's way of reaching down to man. When you have a relationship with a person and you get to know them, you begin to see their heart and understand their character. When revelation is planted in your heart, that testifies of the truth, no one can take that away from you...no one. Religions come and go but Jesus Christ was, is, and always will be.

John Dominic Crossan of DePaul University said of the supposed bones of Jesus Found in Jerusalem, "If the bones of Jesus were to be found in an ossuari in Jerusalem tomorrow, and with out doubt, let's say, they are definitely agreed to be the bones of Jesus, would that destroy Christian faith? It certainly would not destroy MY Christian faith. I leave what happens to bodies up to God."

I always thought that Christians missed the message anyway by concentrating on the messenger.

That's sort of like asking what we would do if we found out that pigs could fly on their own.

In other words, there's no point discussing the impossible.

Nor is there any point discussing things that can be boiled down to nothing more than wishful thinking on your part.

I would jump for joy. I would rub it in my uncles face that he had been wasting all his time in those damn church functions. I would be happy to know that I was doing the right thing by being a good person and not have to believe in christ to do so. I would also feel sorry for all those people ,including my uncle who need that faith thing to get by.

"IF"? Of course the whole thing was made up and it’s proven without a doubt that it’s all based on mythology from older pagan religions, everyone knows that except the Christians.

I'd live a good life with strong moral character and value, be a man of my word, know andpractice the teachings of love and forgiveness, and make a positive impact in the sphere of my influence.
