Do you mean skin or fur? Either way, they are puppies and this can change.
Looking at the roof of their mouths and or tongues and seeing black can be a good indicator that somewhere in the bloodline there is Chow.

Good news, they wont sun burn as easy.
Are they part Chow? Chows are known for their black skin, mouths and tongues.
I once had a Chow / Lab mix. At night when she growled, all you could see was her very white teeth.
A note on the sun burning, the pup I have now is light skin with a pink nose. She can get sun burned.

Nothing bad if that's what you mean, black hair dogs usually have almost black like skin, it's no biggie. Just they way they are ^_^

It's not the color of your dog's skin that matters.... it's the content of its character.
