some girl i like completely ignores me, yet im nice to her. ive written her a poem, drew her a picture, i always compliment her. why?? and she knows i like her but she is going out with someone

It sounds as if she isn't interested and doesn't want to hurt you by telling you so (it may be hurting you more for her to be leaving you hanging like this, but she probably doesn't quite realize that). You sound like a great guy, although possibly a bit too clingy, but maybe you're just not the right guy for her. I would suggest leaving her alone for a while and moving on. If she seems interested later and she makes that known to you, then great. But right now doesn't sound like a god time, especially if she's dating someone else. Please respect that and give her her space.
Poems and poetry can be awesome, but for a girl with a boyfriend they're a little stalker-ish. They're probably amazing for anniverseries and special days after you're dating a girl though.

She is saying "stop stalking me I'm going out with someone else". Maybe its time to focus your attentions on someone else.
