Why do torrent files take so long to be extracted?

Just to let you know, my computer is generally fast when it comes to downloading files or extracting from winzip and winrar.

How fast a torrent downloads depends on how many people are seeding, low seeds equals slow download.

It's illegitimate to down load copyrighted torrents and you'll enter trouble. We recommend using a VPN service when getting torrents. I am using http://www.vpnmaster.org theypermit torrents on the European VPN servers.

if the torrent is a movie, it is probably 4 gbs or so, it takes a little time to work with that much info.
