Well! Relationships are complex, especially those between mother-in-laws and daughter-in-laws! I don't think your mother-in-laws intent is wrong, but while she may mean well she is stepping over boundaries! When God first opened my eyes to the spiritual realm, I know because a lack of maturity spiritually it took time to grow in wisdom on how to handle what I was learning! Your mother-in-law more than likely has unnecessarily grown concerned about your soul! I will admit that there is a growing knowledge among ALL christian faiths (including catholic) that we have been wrong about alot of things and while she may have had a spiritual awakening she is reacting thru her flesh and has not yet learned to allow spiritual things to come out of her spirit! While You may need to set her down(and I will pray your husband will sit down w u too and also voice his concerns) Completely removing her from your life would be a tragedy. If I understood right you are going to have a child! A child needs all the family involved in their lives possible. I also do not believe her intent is at all wrong, so her heart is right! As for the end time thing she may not be so far off again it may not happen in her lifetime and I don't think that should be a focus just an aspect of our faith! Hang in there w her and give it time. I have a feeling as you both grow more in faith your relationship could grow into something that you would consider a blessing and not a curse! That's not wishful thinking I'm serious!!! Before you set down w her u and your husband should pray perhaps over sev. months and ask God to show her what her actions are doing and also pray and ask Him to change your heart towards her. I feel you are growing tired of all this and are going to go off if not careful and I can tell from how patient you've been that is NOT your intent!!! I'm praying right now even as I write. Glad you reached out to christian comm before u blew! My heart goes out to you! Keep in mind this woman is an important relationship for you, your child and your husband which I suspect are the two most important people in your life. It is worth fighting for! Last but not least, Iron sharpens Iron. While it is not easy I suspect you are good for your mother-in-law and she is good for you and you can both grow while working thru these issues!

Not necessarily. Some girls are flirty like that but have no intention of getting that type of message across. Maybe she says this to all the guy friends she has.

I don't think that means she likes you, I think it means she misses you. She might be giving off a friend signal.

She might like you a little bit. Easiest way to know is to ask.
