I'm planning on purchasing a powered subwoofer for my car from crutchfield and the MTX X Thunderlink and Bazooka tubes seem to be just about what I'm looking for but I'm not familiar with the brands.

The powered sub is for a mitsubishi eclipse. I didnt want to put heavy subs in there which is why I'm aiming for the two in one combo :)

Bazooka's bass tubes sound bad, and just wont give you the bunch your looking for.

MTX will give you the thump you want, but it wont sound good.

if your looking for a bass tube, go to a local dealer and find Pioneer Premier shallow mount woofers. give them a listen, and you wont ever even think of a bass tube again.

heres a website thats cheaper then crutchfield. you might want to check them out.

good luck

Both are good, but I have MTX and would recommend you to go with MTX as well. One of the most important thing for a good sounding sub is the enclosure, DO NOT cut corners here or you will regret it.

I would not go with MTX, unless you're strapped on cash. When purchasing audio equipment, quality is definitely important.

The bazooka tube amps are great, but I would look into the Infinity Basslink. Good luck!

Well you are well on your way to great sound, you did not list what kind of car you will be driving so either way I would go with the MTX brand, they are inexpensive and they sound better than what you pay for. knock yourself out
