have you noticed how atheists always say they hate christians because they are always bragging about how they are always right and how good they are because they are christian? isnt it ironic that that is exactly the way atheists act when they try to "fight back" a.k.a. they brag a lot about how they think they are superior because they dont believe in anything and try to "convert" people into atheists. how ironic huh? maybe all people regardless of what they are should simply stfu and leave everyone else alone and let them believe whatever they want to believe

I'm glad you brought it up. I've also seen that many atheists are just as dogmatic and hateful and condescending as the 'fundamentalists'. The only way I can explain it is by pointing out that darkness hates light. Sinners tend to hate people who are holy and try to do everything in their power to drag them into the mud with them. And if they can't do that they antagonize them. That's the reality of the world we live in. Also, hypocrisy is a common part of sin so it's not very surprising.

Atheists don't hate Christians or any other religious people. We just scratch our heads and wonder how anyone can be so gullible and uninformed.
There's a new video at National Geographic showing chimpanzees using tools: the first is a thick branch used to crack open a nut, the second is breaking off a branch in a tree knot to sharpen the end then using it as a spear to kill a bush baby in a hole in a tree. Evolution in action, my friend.
This is simply information used to make an intelligent decision regarding a belief in evolution or, in this case, to strengthen my belief; I don't merely follow along like a lemming because someone else says so. I think freely.
And I don't hate you. Believe what you will. If you're happy in your belief then that's all the matters. But it's the wars and the hatred between religious groups that enrage atheists because you're all defending something that doesn't exist, and that is such a waste.....

The atheists have a particular method of proofs and discovery through which they find out the Truth. Unfortunately that method cannot discover God or prove his existence. For them what they find as truth is what they know and believe in. What they cannot find through their method they do not know and hence cannot believe in. They are right in their own own way.
We believe that God has created this universe and we know this. With God we can explain whatever happens in this Universe. Without God, the atheists have been able to explain only a negligible faction of what goes on the World. When they reach the point that they are able to explain the whole universe and its operating principles, they would come to know what we mean by GOD.
In the meanwhile let them think they are superior. That's how God has created them. So, they are needed in this Universe as well as we are needed. We know that in God's eyes everyone and everything is equal in terms of the principles of his creative process.

Yahoo Answers in R&S seems to be, in general, made up of Christians, Muslims and anti-Christians.

There are a couple of 'atheists' answering / asking here who seem to have actually thought through their position, and don't seem to be too angry. Many of the others are just angry at Christianity for whatever reason, and don't seem to have thought through their belief in un-belief, and are just anti-Christian, not really atheist.

Dialogue is valuable for everybody, regardless of your faith or belief system. I like to hear how people think. Bashing Christianity is just kind of boring to read after awhile, but to each his own I guess.

Take care.

Atheist don't hate Christians but what they stand for. They choose to believe in no God.How can a christian sit back and do nothing to keep others from hell? They have to face God in their time. There is nothing to brag about in the christian
world for we don't deserve God's sacrifice. It was done in love and grace.

Here's the fallacy of your statement.
I never sit with a group of people and say a word about my feeling pro or con regarding religion. However, I'm expected to sit there while others shove theirs down my throat and defy me to object in any way, much less offer a difference of opinion. If I should voice an opinion contrary to theirs I'm called things like "spawn of the devil," "headed straight for hell," etc. I'm unwelcome in future get togethers when they find out I'm not of their beliefs.
I could care less if anyone wants to believe in nonsense like satan, heaven, hell, or any other mythical things. Just stop telling me stupid things like how your god will burn me in hell for not believing what you tell me.
No, I don't hate any of you, you just boor me to tears with your ignorance.

As long as we are human--there can be not 'perfect' argument. That's why we make decision based on Faith/Knowledge or both. Sometime our zeal for out belief gets overused. If we have no feelings about our arguments, we may as well let our computers do the arguing.

ISN'T BEING A ATHEIST BELIEVING IN SOMETHING. LOL

THE SHEAR AND HONEST TO GOD TRUTH IS THAT THEY DO NOT WANT TO ADHEAR TO THE COMMANDMENTS OF THE LORD. THEY LOVE AND LIVE TO DO WICKED THINGS. THERE IS A FLIPSIDE THO-THEY DO NOT KNOW THEY GOODNESS OF OUR HEAVENLY FATHER AND THERE SIN SEPARATES THEM FROM HIM. NO UNCLEAN THING CAN DWELL IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD.
