Could the Trans Am Racing Series be revived in 2010?

What with the sheer popularity of the new Mustang and the return of the Challenger and Camaro to production in 2010, plus the return of Alfa Romeo in the same year, could the Sports Car Club of America Trans Am Racing Series be revived?

I hope so. My dad and I have going to Road America since I was five years old.The old Trans Am series was always my favorite to watch. Nothing beats the thunder of a V8 muscle car. Boy just thinking about it brings back good memories.
