My girlfriend gave me her email password like 4 months ago when we started dating. She said she gave it to me because she wanted me to be able to trust her completely. So I email her yesterday and call her and she hasn't answered since then. I decided to go into her email to see if she ever even received my email. Turns out she didn't, but I found some emails I wish I wouldn't have. They are from her ex boyfriend whom she has remained "friends" with despite knowing it bugs me. So I open it up and he's telling her that he want to get back with her and he wants her to move to his city. He also said that he forgot when he called her last because he has been calling her so much. Another thing, he asked her to send nude pics of herself to him. To this she replied that her boyfriend wouldn't like that. As far as the other stuff, she never responded. I know I should be more pissed at this guy, but isn't it her fault as well for talking to someone who only wants to get back with her?

Careful what you do here. It should be okay for her to keep in some contact with her ex as long as it is only on a friendly basis. If he is pushing for this other stuff, then you need to sit her down and tell her your feelings. You also need to have her change her password so that you can't get into her email anymore. Chances are, she can handle this type of stuff if she is an adult. If she hasn't talked to you about it, tell her that you'd like to be filled in. If you are living together, you should be close enough to be talking about everything. If you're not talking about everything that goes on between you, you need to start doing that. As far as this guy goes, he probably is in her past for good and is finally realizing what he is missing. It's his loss, but you should tell her that you are uncomfortable with her talking to him. Let her know how you feel in a civilized way, and try to talk it out from there.
