He's had a lot of stress lately from work, which made him not want to take his blood pressure meds for a week. He also suffers from hypertension, heart disease and COPD. Where could this memory loss have come from. I've heard rumors that for some statin drugs have an affect on their memory. Could it be a blood clot in my father's case or something else. My father did visit the doc recently he just got rid of one of his meds which wasnt the statin drug. He's suppose to see him again this wednesday to see how he's doing. To me he's been the same. Anyone have any suggestions? Please anything is something.
Thanks

honey, with all your fathers conditions on top of the stress he could be having circulation constriction (blood flow) to the brain which will cause less oxygen to go to the brain. or perhaps blood pressure will be so high it could cause memory loss ( i myself have experienced this). your father dear should get to his Dr. & now to get checked out he is headed, if not already, about to have a massive stroke or major heart attack or both. NOW!!

It sounds like you need to go to the doctor with your dad to make sure the doc is getting the right information. And that your dad is remembering the correct information concerning his treatment
