You divide your weight in 1/2 and drink that many ounces per day. So 125/2= 62.5... so you drink 62.5ounces of water per day. In "Cups" terms, that's exactly 7.8125cups... so about 8 cups per day, just like everyone has been saying. but at least now you know how to figure it out, so if you ever gain/lose weight you'll know how to figure it out. :)

Age does not correlate with how much water you drink. The general rule would be, the more water you drink, the better for your body. So, if you can drink more than 10-15glasses a day, the better.

Water has no bad effects to the body. Rather, it has cleansing & balancing effects, all beneficial to your body.

Take note, that you don't have to fulfill your daily water intake needs by drinking "pure" water. You also drink water when you drink NATURAL fruit juices. Avoid sodas, artificial juice drinks because they have no nutritional value & are high in calories which may cause obesity/ some illnesses.

So, again, the more water, the better for you!

It doesn't matter how old you are or how much you weigh. Everyone should drink 8 glasses a day.

P.S. People who drink alot of water usually have healthy looking skin, so drink more if you can ; )

Divide your body weight in pounds by 2. That is how many fluid ounces a day you need, minimum.

Do not consider alcoholic beverage, soda, coffee or tea as an equal substitute for water.

Don't go on a water binge, it can have serious consequences, even death.

At least 8 glasses a day. More would be better. It really doesn't matter your age or weight.
