Bible-based Christianity & Judaism can.
Historically?
Through the vehicle of prophecy, God throws down the gauntlet to all the other "holy books" and all the other "gods" that dare to claim the title. The God of the Bible challenged in Isaiah 41:22-23,
"Let them bring forth and show us what will happen; let them show the former things, what they were, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare to us things to come. Show the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that you are gods; yes, do good or do evil, that we may be dismayed and see it together."
OK, there is the challenge from the God of the Bible. No other book contains prophecy that has been fulfilled with accuracy. Consider, just for now, re-establishment of the nation of Israel. See the list of prophecies at this link... http://www.konig.org/page3.htm So historically, we can conclude that God proves both His existence, His Word as well as His dwelling in the eternal realm.
Scientifically?
When it comes to the origins of life there are only two possibilities: Creation or spontaneous generation. There is no third way. Spontaneous generation was disproved hundreds of years ago, but that leads us to only one other conclusion, that of supernatural creation. - Secular Scientist, George Wald, "The Origin of Life", Scientific American May 1954
The likelihood of the formation of life from inanimate matter is one to a number with 40 thousand [zeros] after it. It is enough to bury Darwin and the whole theory of evolution. There was no primordial soup, neither on this planet nor on any other, and if the beginnings of life were not random they must therefore have been the product of purposeful intelligence. - Secular Mathematician, Sir Fredrick Hoyle, Nature Nov. 1981
Physically Seen?
Look in the mirror, and contemplate your eye. Imagine the complexity of color, shape, 3D rendering, lens focus, iris light adjustment, low light adaptation, then conemplating with a "soul?" the life that is staring back at you. That you are a living being that is worth so much to God, He would send His only Son to die so that you may live with Him forever.
I mean, really, do you know what it took to even ask this question? You have a physical machine called a body that is able to use its mind to ponder the question, relay visual information from a physical world of comparable low-tech computers through the optic nerve, into the brain, with the mind to comprehend the ramifications, then transfer that thought process to an incredibly complex systems of nerves, tendons, and touch to the fingers to type the letters. This then communicates a question of the soul. The soul is something that science cannot a.) explain and b.) create. It can only mimic with unsatisfactory results. That soul is concerned for the existence of an eternal destiny beyond time and space--that there is a world beyond the physical world we see in the here and now. You are an incredible creation who has been given the free will choice to believe, or not believe. A being that can love, write poetry, paint or play works of incredible complexity and beauty. To smell, and taste, enjoy. So, like you, I set out on a path to find my Creator. It is obvious that He exists, but is He personal or an impersonal force? My answer came through the study of prophecy in the Bible. Like the DNA strand and life itself, it was hard to dispute the evidence. Now with the realization of the truth of the Bible, God made it clear that He was not only a personal God, but One who wanted to know ME, and that He knew everything about me--even the number of every hair on my head.

(Honestly & Realistically ... OR, Legalistically ... ?)
prove - Definition: "provide evidence for"
evidence - Definition: "an indication that makes something evident"
Can you see radio waves, hear temperature, taste weather changes, see wind? Does that prove that all of them are non-existant? Of course no one can do any of those things, yet all of them are existant! And so it goes with God ... He is Spirit. He cannot literally be seen, or heard, or tasted, by us ... any more than the wind can. Would you suggest that the wind is nonexistant? So, it's pointless to ask for proof in the literal seeing of God. However, we Can see evidences of him in the Countless detailed creations on earth, as well as in the heavens. Many scientists do believe in God because of these things, plus the laws & principles that govern them all ...

Answer is very simple with today's scientific knowledge. If the same question is posed 100 years before it would have been difficult to prove that the aethists are wrong. Just apply today's science for this question.Even in today's science we have so many assumptions. Without faith in the unseen things, today's science is meaningless. In Mathematics, we say Limit tends to Infinity to solve so many real time problems. What is this Infinity? Human mind cant preceive this. Next in Physics, in Material Science, we assume a smallest wave particle called "Photon" which dont have any proof of existence physically, then only we proceed with atomic physics. Without such assumption & faith, physics is meaningless. We measure distance in light years. Today the edge of our universe is 4 billion light years away from us. We cant even imagine 1 light year. So likewise we have so many things which we cant reason out. But we have to stop at some point with faith in it. Otherwise we will hit the wall and damage our head. Human mind is given with the 6th sense. We see, hear, feel, smell something but using the 6th sense we infer some results from such things. When we see a smoke at a distance we know there is fire. We believe this without seeing the fire. Like wise we have so many wonders around us, within our body which should make us to feel the presence of an omni-potent power. Within our science only we have so many faiths & beliefs, how can we prove God who is considered above all such things. We cant even imagine 1/1000th of a millimeter, but we cure the disease caused by a bacteria whose dimension is beyond our imagination. We cant even imagine 1 light year but we use our computers to calculate that the universe is 4 billion light years away from earth. You are asking how to see an Entity which is above all these things which Human mind knows. We believe so many things without seeing or without even having the power to imagine, but we want to see the Creator who has created such things.

Dear brother,
Certain things cannot be proved directly , but you can realise. When you see smoke you realise fire is there. Can you prove PAIN, HAPPINESS, etc.? NO. But can you say there is no pain? With the power of your eyes you cannot see any planets, so can you or the scientist admit that there is no other planet? Think about the Human anatomy. What a fantastic creation!!! What about the UNIVERSE, did you think all this things come just like that.
First of all don't expect GOD in a form. He is FORMLESS. You can ask me then why people worship GOD in the form of IDOL ETC., That is the beginning stage, because at the beginning stage you need some sort of form to show your GRATITUDE. Once you get the maturity you will realise that GOD IS FORMLESS. Your LKG teacher taught you the alphabets. Later you form words then sentences then compositions and finally you wrote a THESIS. If I ask you to write a Thesis at the stage of LKG what will you say. You will say there is nothing called Thesis.
So GOD is BEEINGNESS (there is no word to express more than this.) At the most you can EXPERIENCE him, but cannot see with your eyes.
I tried to share my Knowledge with you. In HINDU DHARMA GOD is in everything. To realise this what is needed is KNOWLEDGE.
i pray the ALMIGHTY to help you in your Quest.

Hello vikilion
Science cannot prove the existence of God any more than it can prove the existence of love.
Science deals with the study of the things we can observe with our five senses. But we know that our senses are not all there is to what makes us who we are.
When a person declares that God must not exist because if He did then science would have surely found Him by now, it is as absurd as saying love cannot exist for the same reason.
Try to analyze love scientifically. What is love made of?
What are it's dimensions?
How much does love weigh?
What is love's mass, density, volume?
Where is love's place in the Periodic Table?
How fast does love travel?
What is the boiling point of love?
What is love's freezing temperature?
Can we use love for fission, or fusion?
Can we put love in a test tube?
Can we study love through a lens?
Has love ever been seen by human eyes? Some will say "Of course. I see love all around me." No - what they are seeing are the effects of love. A showing of affection is one way we express love, it is not love itself; even if it were, this still could not be adequate proof because affectionate behavior can be faked.
If one were to use the effect love has on people as proof that love exists, then one is also forced to acknowledge that it is at least possible that God's effect on people is evidence of His existence.

No religion can even remotely prove the existence of god, or the attributes of god that can be scientifically or physically verified by the human eyes.
They harp on faith, blind faith, which does not need any proof.

The exsistence of God is obvious. Let me give you an example. When you see a painting, you know there was a painter. You do not have to ever see the painter to know there was a painter. It is obvious to anyone with eyes and a brain. The same can be applied to all of creation, when you look at creation, you know there was a creator. It could not just appear, logically there had to be a creator. This is so simple a child can understand it. Atheism is the opposite of logic and anyone with a logical mind will disregaurd it as foolishness. By the way God reveals himself to those who come to him, and the only way we can come to him is to have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

I would have to say no. Because if the existence of God was proven, then there would be no religion. Religion is a faith that God is there. Prove existence and religion is obsolete. Remember, too: "To those who believe, no proof is needed. To those who do not believe, no proof is enough."

Religion is the path to god. to walk on the path youhave to follow some ethics.
For those who connect religion with God other way round -
When Lord Buddha preached about salvation, he had no idea that his followers would be called buddhists some day. When Jesus preached sacrifice, he had no idea that his followers would be called christians and follow preachings of few churches (catholics, protestants, etc.). When Krishna preached karma, he had no idea that his followers would be categorized as vaishnavas.
Finally, it's we human beings, responsible for so called divisions. God never preached religion. Religion is induction of few ethics upon us. It's not our identity. So what is our identity? We are all part of almighty and an integral part of his creations. But we wrongly interporet religion as our identity. people call themselves Buddhists, Christians, Hindus, Jews, Muslims, etc. but rarely identify themselves as human beings.
However our consicence realizes our own identity as a part of the one, and hence the concept of one supernatural power is universal.
Talking about proofs, there are some faiths that should not be questioned. Your insight (consicence) is one of them. The faith in God arises from in there. Existence of God is a challenge to ones insight. We cannot physically see God unless we rise high above the materialstic levels of the world, unless we realize ourselves as integral part of theworld and perform our duties as human beings. Once you attain a certian level of spirituality, you can certien feel His presence. Also not to forget, everyone, trust me everyone, has felt the unseen force out of nowhere guiding him, atleast once in his life. How do you explain this unseen force?
All the best...
:-)

You have to believe your mother or family members.
