There's this guy that has liked me for a long time and he just told me he likes me the thing is i broke up with a guy not long ago cuz he cheated on me and right now i dont feel like having a boyfriend i told him that but i'm afraid when i want a boyfriend he won't be there which i can't blame him for. .i dont know what to do. should i go out with him?

You should not go out with him until YOU feel comfortable. If you have feelings for him you need to tell him that you do but you cant do anything about it until you are able to fully trust him (or anyone for that matter) because i am assuming that after having someone cheat on you your whole idea of trust is gone which is understandable.
If you don't have feelings for hI'm im really not sure what the issue is here. Expecting someone to wait for the slim chance that you MIGHT begin to like them is wrong.

I was cheated on before by my last boyfriend and my current boyfriend waited for me for over 3 months because he knew i just got out of a relationship and was seriously hurt. I didnt like him at first but he never left me..NEVER EvER. thats when i realize he's worth it and i gave him a chance and we're going out now. So if that guy really likes you and want to be with you he'll wait until you're ready if he moves on then thanks god you just saved your self from a guy who cant even wait for you. Thats a good test for a guy, if they wait long enough then they're worth it if not then they just want one thing.

dont go out with him if you are not sure how you feel, just tell
him the reason that you feel like this. if he trully llike you then
he will understand, if not then his lost, it better to get over
your feeling for someone else then to rush into something
new that will not work.if he there then that find if not then
his lost not your. but you need to do what is right for
you.

does he have to be your boyfriend to date him??? Just have fun and try not to get so serious. Relationships should be casual and fun in the beginning. There's good one's and bad one's. Learn from the bad one's and move forward. You should be smarter every time you put yourself into a new relationship.
