At one time I had no fear of GOD or respect for religion and out of my own ignorance I would make fun or tell jokes with no shame now that I have learned and have seen what GOD has done for me in my life even after what I have done to him I now have respect

When Jesus was on the cross, people were mocking Him then, as well. He said, "Father, forgive them, they know not what they do". I think people still mock Him today for the exact same reason; they have no idea what they are doing.
The kind of feeling I get is sort of a cold fear....for the one doing the mocking.

I don't think that people mock Jesus as much as they do His followers. If they met Him in person their reaction would be different. It is the people who are His followers who make Him seem like a joke. Sad to say, but true. If Jesus were here today I think that most people would love and follow Him. The people who felt threatened by His power would do what they always do...

They aren't mocking Jesus, but the mindset that allows many to use their opinion of his will as gospel. That's why there is such conflict and ridicule on this matter. Don't confuse the 2 issues at hand.

I don't like to mock Jesus, but the demon in me often try to make me mock Jesus. Whenever the demon take over me, I have no saying, he will mock Jesus all he wants to. I hate it! I feel so guilt about it.

I don't know what kind of feeling results from such behavior. I've never done that - never found it necessary either to leave Christanity or to be a non-Christian theist.
I suppose they do that because they are insecure, filled with doubts or even guilt for leaving Christanity. So, in order to counter this they insult the very thing they are afraid of.
In my opinion, it shows ignorance, fear and extreme insecurity.
You can disagree with someone and do so respectfully. Those incapable of this aren't even sure of their own beliefs. So they try to undercut yours.

It's unfortunate people mock Jesus. It's because we live in a "secular progressive" society and they want to rid the world of Jesus, Christianity, and God.

I don't mock him. I think the people who believe in Jesus are kind of nutty, but Jesus himself was really cool.

They express their ignorance and sin of unbelief. I would like to see people mock Muhammad or Allah and see what happens to them. They are too scared for that though. PEACE!!!
