Well since the Jews had never heard of "salvation" as we don't believe in original sin, I'd say neither.

Jesus Christ said that the first would be last and that the last would be first. By this he meant that the Jews would bring the word of God to the Gentiles (the non Jew) and then later on (2000 years later) The Gentiles would bring the gospel to the Jews. We are now in "the last will be first" stage. You see the Jews don't believe that Jesus Christ was the son of GOD. They just think he was a great man. They are still waiting for God to send the Messiah. So now the Gentiles must convince the Jews that Jesus was in fact that very Messiah they are waiting for.

Salvation comes through Christ Jesus as a gift, this is the only way. Jesus was a Jew. So, through the Jews, the birth of Jesus became. Jesus is the light of the world.

Salvation was offered to the Jews, but also to the Gentiles.

Acts 13:46-48
46Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly and said, "It was necessary that the word of God be spoken to you first; since you repudiate it and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we are turning to the Gentiles.

47"For so the Lord has commanded us,
'I HAVE PLACED YOU AS A LIGHT FOR THE GENTILES,
THAT YOU MAY BRING SALVATION TO THE END OF THE EARTH.'"

48When the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord; and as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed.

JEsus was sent solely to the Jews. According to the gospel of matthew, Jesus says "I have only been sent to the lost sheep of israel" and turns away a gentile woman.

It is agreed upon that the statement of Jesus concerning preaching christianity to gentiles and jews alike is a fabrication and doesnt exist in the earliest "manuscripts" of the New testament.

Many early christians believed one had to become Jewish to become Christian, yet paul overturned this concept and tried to make chrisitanity applicable to all people.

Salvation is offered to Jew and Gentile. Its up to you to accept or reject it. Jesus was a Jew, when you become a Christian you are grafted into the vine. Choose you this day whom you will serve. Who have you chosen?

Salvation comes from Jesus Christ, who was born of a Jewish mother. Jesus is the Messiah of the Jews. Some believed Jesus and they were saved and started the church. That is a thumbnail sketch.

God made a covenant (obedience and loyalty to Him alone) with Abraham (Jews) as God's intrument to reach the world.

The covenant was based on grace, law and obedience.

Gentiles were grafted on to the Olive Branch (i.e., Israel) by grace through Jesus Christ to be partakers of the promises.
