Are you just kissing your dog on the top of the head or something? If not, you need help!

It is totally okay to kiss your dog on the top of its head. I had a dog when I was growing up, did that, and I now have a cat, and do that too. It's totally okay. It doesn't make you get sick, or anything like that. Honest. If she thinks it's bad like a "bad thing to do", just don't do it around her. She probably just doesn't quite understand about kissing your dog or a cat on top of their head. Take care.

I kiss my dog and he kisses me all the time. There is a certain bacteria that dogs can carry in their saliva which is bad for humans, but it is rare. I am willing to take the chance, because I love my dog. I mean, come on, as long as you don't let your dog 'deep-throat' you, well, a little kiss on the lips does no harm. The old saying is 'a dog's mouth is cleaner than a human's'.

just remember that a dog does not see a kiss the same as people do,as long as the dog gets that it is a loving action there is nothing wrong with kissing a dog.

Since when is showing compassion and love to any living creature bad? Your dog needs love and affection just like you. I think its GREAT that you kiss your dog. Lucky dog!

its not bad if you do it once in awhile because my grandma when she was a kid always kissed her dog on top of her head and she got sick because they found not to be discusting or anything but they found a dust bunny of the dogs hair in her stomach so well now since my grandma told me this story i olny kissed it like once a month instead give her/him a treat and let him/her lick you trust me it works

bad for whom? it wont hurt the dog and it wont hurt you.. a dogs mouth is cleaner than a humans.. however your aunt might just mean that it's gross.. and that is a matter of opion.. I don't kiss my dog but other do and I have never heard of anything bad happening.

my Dr. said I should not even have a dog and his partner said keep my dog causse he helped save my life. I sure do kiss my dog!

No. It's not like your french kissing it!!! I mean it's fine to kiss it on the head or the cheak but not on the lips or antything!!!

of course not!!!I kiss my chihuahua on the lips many times during the day (i brush her teeth every day) there is nothing wrong with it!!! Dogs mouths are cleaner than human mouths! I dont know about that aunt of yours!!!!!!!!!!!!
