Only because he violated his oath of office and manipulated Congress into an illegal war.

The United Nations charter has a provision which was agreed to by the United States formulated by the United States in fact, after World War II. It says that from now on, no nation can use armed force without the permission of the U.N. Security Council. They can use force in connection with self-defense, but a country can't use force in anticipation of self-defense. Regarding Iraq, the last Security Council resolution essentially said, “Look, send the weapons inspectors out to Iraq, have them come back and tell us what they've found -- then we'll figure it out from there.” The U.S. was impatient, and decided to invade Iraq -- which was all pre-arranged of course. So, the United States went to war, in violation of the charter. Making the war in Iraq an “illegal” war.

The enemy is responsible for the deaths. You are responsible for the deaths. The media is responsible for the deaths. The U.N. is also guilty of all these dead. How many times would you tell a murderer coming at you to stop before you fired upon them? Would you wait and try to have a "dialouge" first and then maybe offer them some money as a bribe? At the same time maybe you're right, may be it is time for the U.S. to stop fighting for the rest of the world.

I think we need to pull our troops back. No more fighting for the E.U., no more medical or financial aid for anyone. Maybe we should just leave the U.N., make them leave, and let them handle it all for themselves. Why fight for anyone else who is just going to spit on us?

You can be against the Iraq war. That's fine. But I gotta ask...

Exactly how is the war "Illegal" ?? And doesn't Article I on the Constitution reserve the power of declaration of war for Congress (hint: it does).

Sorry but the war is not illegal. The President has the
authority and is the Commander-In-Chief. No other
president that has sent us to war (including Clinton) has
ever been held responsible for soldier deaths. Not gonna
happen. You are one of those "Blame America First"
people. We need unity in this country, not blame, blame
and blame. Disunity will surely bring US down. Let Up.

When our President starts planting IED's or firing the weapons himself, then he can be held responsible. The fanatics in the Middle East haven't gotten along for thousands of years. Our President's major miscalculation was that he thought we could actually facilitate comraderie amongst people who can not trust or be honest with themselves or others. Simply put, they don't want to get along, we can't can't make 'em.

The UN is essentially a useless organization to begin with & I would venture to say that we should hold the terrorists responsible for the deaths of our soldiers...

He should not be responsible for the soldiers deaths. I say that because it is a war and troops are going to die, so it is not his fault. The soldiers are fighting to protect our country and other countries and they are the ones that signed up to be in the military. They knew what they were getting into by signing up for the war

You are more responsible than he is.

Your actions increase the danger to our troops and provide encouragement to the enemy.
