My Doctor wrote me a script for 25 tabs of Lorcet 7.5.

My parents try to keep them away from me because they will get me addicted.

I know the problem with that but the difference with me is I have very severe headaches, not migraine but much worse pain. So what should I tell them I need the vicodin for headaches & to feel better!!!

My doctor will refill my prescription because he don't just cut you off strong pain meds cold turkey. He probably will write me a lower dose or less tabs.

Thanks

You should let your parents keep your meds for you, if you are a minor. Then ask them to give you one when you do have a severe headache. That way they can monitor the frequency and severity of your headaches and can then relay that information to your doctor. Good luck and hope you don't suffer much!

What type of headaches are worse than migraines? Honey, who are you trying to kid? I have had migraines for years and I am telling you that narcotics are about the worst things you could be taking for these headaches. The narcotics cause rebound headaches which are horrible and they do hurt, which may be what you are having. Your parents may be doing you a favor along with your physician and they are weaning you off of the stuff. And yes your physician can stop you cold turkey, you may think you are going to die, but you won't. I have seen so many patients tell physicians the very same thing and tell all medical personnel this same line. You will not die, you sound like you are addicted to pain killers already and need some help and your parents are trying to help you, so let them. Sorry, I guess you didn't get the answer you were wanting or looking for. Good luck kid!!!
