3 oz. in a ziplock baggie for carry on. No limit on checked baggage, but be sure to put it in a sealed waterproof container.

3 ounce bottles in zip lock baggies. Anything liquid can only be in 3 ounce sizes and all must be zip locked for carry on baggage. For Check-in baggage, put whatever you want in, no problems. I am assuming that you are also refering to flying in the USA

As long as your shampoo bottle is in your checked in bag you will be fine, it can be any size, it is only carry on items that airports are making you throw away anything that is a liquid. You can also call the airport you are fling out of and double check what they allow and don't allow. hope this helps..

I believe you are allowed to carry 3 oz. bottles.
