I was dating this guy then we broke up because he hadn't really dealt with his previous break-up anyway he asked if i would wait and give him a chance to work it out and then we would get back together he has even mentioned that he sees a future for us together so should i wait or not more than a few people have said no even less said yes but,i want some opinions of people who don't know me or him.

First off how much do u care for him? If you think he is worth waiting for do so. Second how is he going to work it out, within his self or with her? Or is it both? And how long u were together also comes into play. What really matters is do u want to wait not what everyone else thinks. But don't let him string u along make him give u a time frame or u give him one. Not good to start another relationship till u r over the last one. Atleast he is being honest with u atleast it sounds that way. That's a plus if it's true. Only you can answer the question if he is worth waiting for. So look into urself for the answer u will make the right one for you...... Good Luck!!!

If you like this guy then it would be better to let him get over his previous relationship before starting one with him. The choice on waiting is up to you if you think he is being sincere and not just trying to blow you off and you want to wait then wait. If someone else comes along that you like you are not obligated to wait for him. It all depends on how you feel and what you want. Hope this helps and good luck.

I'd say, if you really see a future with this person, then maybe wait a little while, like a month -- but no longer. You have to look out for yourself too and who knows if he'll come back for you or not.

I think he really likes you if he asked to to let him deal first, it means he wants you to be more then the kick to get him over the last girl, and guys need that or ever one I have ever met needed something to get him over his last girl before he could move on and see clearly

if he really liked you he would end the thing with his x and just let it go completely and not worry about fixing it or anything like that. you shouldnt wait for him that is not fair to you because he might decide to get back with his x

It doesn't really sound as if he's breaking it off, it sounds as if he went back to be with her. If it was over between them, that could have been done with a phone call.

is he the one that you would go through hell for if not move on because if you cant give 100 percent to a person then your not ready to deal with him.
