i'am in-love(i dont know if it is the right term) with an older guy..he was my professor in highschool..it all started as a joke but i(stupid me) fell for it.. in fact he knows i like him but just as a joke..he even shows some affection but also as a joke to join in with the fun..i thought it would just go away when i will be in college, but now i still keep on longing for him..i feel the lack of reasons in going to school now coz i know he isn't there anymore..i cant understand myself..

Only tell him if you are sure.
Make sure it is love and not longing because of the lack of affection. I think you should wait a while. If you decide that you truly love him then tell him. If you don't feel comfortable with that then ask him out first. You don't know his feelings and you want to take slow steps in that direction. You don't want to pop up and say I love you and not as a joke. It might scare him. Go slowly and have patience. If love is a card in fate's hands then it will be delt to you.
Just remember to look at it from his perspective too. Take it slowly and time will tell.

Grow the hell up! That may take a year or two or maybe a trip through your first year of college, but for petesake, find someone who isn't your teacher. If you really have feelings for him, don't embarrass yourself by telling him how you feel, and certainly don't put him in a postition that could jepordize his career.
