I mean, if when they are young, they don't interact with lots of kids, or don't go to daycare, or there are family problems in the family, or a time you were sick and you couldn't give lots of attention and love to your kids, does it really harm them for life, or they could change and become better????????

I went through a divorce when my son was one. He's never been to daycare and is seldom around other kids his age. He is almost three. His personality is blossoming beautifully. He is wonderful, loving, sensitive, caring. But I do feel social interaction with others his age is important. I will be enrolling him in a two day preschool a couple months after he turns three. Ocassionally we are around other kids, at the play area in the mall or something. He seems fine around other kids. Depending on the situation he may be apprehensive at first, but sometimes if he's a little familiar with the kids or place he dives right in. I think he will be OK.

The majority of a child's personality is figured out before the child's born. The rest is determined in the womb, usually after 24 weeks. Most personality traits are a genetic trait.
The first three years of a child's life is the most important. Not spending 100% of one's attention is not going to make their child a serial killer but weeks upon weeks of neglect and isolation will come back to bite ya in the butt.
