There are no rules baby. I think the best way is to say things direct and straight forward. I had a female friend who told my friend: Oh your are very pretty. But I think the best way is: I like you. So you need to find a way to make him invites you. A girl asked me once: When I'm gonna be so lucky to going out with you? So I understood the message and I invite her and answer Oh the day whenever you want and the pleasure would be mine. Perhaps you can get a prize or you could be wounded. Love is a risk and you can evaluate if you can afford this risk. If he is a gentleman he will answer in the right way.

I'm surprised how often girls ask this on here! I mean, a guy should be more concerned with how to tell if a girl likes them, since they have to do all the approaching.
Umm... if a guy likes you but only says so through body language, then he is a shy dude, and maybe that's not your type. If he is too afraid to ask, then he is too shy, and if he is too shy, minor things are probably positive signs.
