He is referring to the fact that he is thinking of you in a boyfriend/girlfriend way- and wants that type of relationship. Just tell him that you only like him as a friend and that's that.....

I'd say it depends on what kind of a relationship you've established with him. If your like brother and sister because you've know each other for a long period of time, that may be all he means, but if you can tell he wants a relationship, either go for it if you want, or tell him you don't feel the same way. If you're absolutely confused by his statement, just come out and ask him. I'm sure he'd understand:) Good Luck!

More that a friend usually means he wants to have a relationship with you that can lead to other things. Other things like; long talks, companionship, partner for events, and maybe sex along the way.

if he is paying attention to just u and does not have a g/f or a person he is trying to get with then he wants u to be with him if he has a significant other then he is telling u that ur a really good friend or that he wants to do things behind his g/fs back

How long have you known him? Maybe he has feelings for you, but because of your friendship his feelings go much deeper or maybe he feels that you are like family. You have to sit down with him and talk this through.
