you don't know stress untill you are trying to do college and High school at the same time starting at 16, you are getting less than 5 hours of sleep a night, you are a leader in 4 diffrent clubs, you are highly active in church, and you have to take care of your 2 younger siblings all the time. this is what my life is like. to make every thing worse my dad is a college math teacher, and he made me take one of his courses this semester. I HATE MATH WITH A HOLY PASSION! and my dad and I have never really gotten along. this one math class has made my life a living HELL. I am almost sure that I will not pass it and my dad takes delight in making things harder.
you don't know stress, at least not yet.

Some kids get c's and that's normal for them. Not everyone is going to be an A & B student. If you are doing your best, then that's all you can do. You still have a couple months left in this school year, so be sure all your work is caught up, and see if you can do any extra credit to raise your grades. Your teachers might be very nice about it, and they might have some ideas for some extra work for you. For now, just enjoy your spring break! You said you were less stressed when you were hanging out with your friends, so do that. And also, just be honest with your parents. Tell them about your grades, but that you are trying. Ask them for help if you need it, remember they are your parents and they love you! Good luck hun, and don't worry it'll work out :)

Well, it doesn't seem like you can do much to change your grade at this point, but I will tell you this: it is highly unlikely that colleges will look any further than your Freshman (11th) year when considering you for college.
If you are worried about your grade, it is best if you bring it up with your parents NOW. Let them know that you're worried about your grade, that your teacher won't let you do extra credit, and that you're struggling. Let them know you're trying your hardest but that you need help and are afraid that your quarterly grades won't be as high as you're hoping. Let them know you are afraid of disappointing them, but that you're just needing help and aren't sure where to get it (even if you really are).
Parents, on the whole, will not be disappointed if you truly are doing your best, especially if you let them know you need help. She might be a little upset that you didn't come to her sooner, but you've still got time to try and get your grade higher. Be honest - it shows maturity AND gets you the help you need. It also helps YOUR stress level if you know they're already prepared, and they'll be less stressed if they know that they've got this time to take action to get you the help you need.
And as far as your future is concerned, don't fret. With only 2 years of college under my belt (and no degree), I managed to get into the Admin of a big law firm, and with the same amount of college, my hubby has gotten into a well-known computer company and is making good money with them. So, though we've been lucky on most accounts, the college that you go to isn't as important as the training and instruction that you get. Do your best, keep your parents in the loop, and TRUST YOURSELF. You'll be fine. :)

You are in 6th grade, you are WELL aware of the fact that you won't get where you want in life unless you get good grades, GOOD FOR YOU!!! You try and try and do the best that you can, that's all your parents expect of you. Have a GREAT spring break, your C's can be fixed later on. You are not a failure. Don't cry, and don't stress, you are doing fine.
Be a kid, have a good time, but realize how important your grades are in life. You seem to have it under control...

Two C's in the 6th grade are not going to prevent you from getting into a good college. C is average. That's it... average. As in "a majority of people will get this grade in this class." It's not the end of the world. Work the hardest that you possibly can, but don't stress over your grades so much. Just do your best, and work to your maximum potential. Your grades will reflect that, and you'll get into a good college. After college, no one will EVER ask you what grade you received in 6th grade science. Trust me.

You know what? when it comes to school and you are serious there are a lot of things that you can do to get your grade higher. Speak to your teacher about extra credit or things you can do to take over again. Like if you are not happy with a test then most likely the teacher will have a makeup test you can take. Don't worry, if you are this worried about school then obviously you are trying as hard as you can. Sometimes your parents need to think about you trying as hard as you can. But speak with your teachers or teacher. They will do everything they can to help you OK.

Worrying too much will cause you to fail in ways you never imagined.... The stress from it, will cause you more problems then you can imagine also.... Concentrate on it and do the best you can... because when you do get out in the world, you will have your fair share of problems.... Getting good grades is important... But your mental health and Physical health are more important... And all the stress you are under isnt at all healthy.... Good Luck.... lay Back and relax
