What do you think is the best elliptical machine for under $300? I'm very heavy so it has to be sturdy.

Most of them have a weight limit far below my weight. Doesn't make much sense, does it? If you're too heavy, you can't get on this machine to lose weight!

Don't buy one from walmart. My husband bought me one because I have back problems and I am not supposed to run on a treadmill or walk very much. The one we bought looked and felt great at the store, but when we got it home and put it together, it was very wobbly and some of the parts would fall off of it while we used it. Very scary! We also were told we couldn't bring it back because they had to send someone out to service it, who never showed up no matter how many times we called. I would head to a sporting goods store or a fitness machine dealer and get as much info as you can off the net before buying one. Good luck!

i got mine for 249 at walmart. its a image 8.25
