You know, I've thought about that. Now, J.C. was tried and convicted at night, while the masses were asleep. But what would have happened if the masses would have rebelled against Rome? This would have delayed any thought of crucifixion, due to massive riots and so forth. Now, would this have been a terrible thing? Maybe. 1) Reason why it may not have would been that nations would have been alerted of this, (We are talking Rome here. THE EMPIRE OF ROME.) and even visiting this "Man" whom the masses love and adore. But then 2) the issue of a "Political" kingdom would come into play, nullifying J.C. and the "Messianic" Kingdom. J.C. would have been a highly respected man, even going as far as making him King. So, in regards this had to go the way it did. This was according to plan, and even J.C. knew it. I understand you may think this is bull-oney, but if you take the time to truly understand the message the Book tries to teach, it's not that hard to understand what he did was for us all.

Hello! Jesus could have lived a sinless perfect life for however long He did. Why? It is because He was born sinless and after receiving the Holy Spirit without measure following His baptism by John He would have walked in perfect obedience to God His Father! Everything He did was done because He saw His Father do it and because of that love relationship He kept vital and continual with the Father. The life and length of time and the time which He gave up His spirit to God was in the ORDER of God and PERFECT wisdom and timing of God! Though He did die physically and suffered in hell, He was resurrected out of it by the GLORY of the Father to REIGN on high as the Prince of Peace and the King of Glory! For all time and eternity Jesus will forever have His flesh body which He took upon Himself to be the Lamb of God, Redeemer and Ransomer of all mankind! So yes, He absolutely and UNEQUIVOCALLY could've lived for 80 years had it been God's will. No doubt friend!

It does not matter what I think. Jesus came here for one purpose only. To reconcile man to God. He could have cared less about living a long life because to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

Of course He would want to be in heaven rather than here on this old earth in a stinky human body.

Yes. Sin is separation from God and Jesus was only separated from God for a brief time while he was on the cross, when He took on the sins of the world. Otherwise He would have always been one with God, even if only a man.

He did no longer scientific care us from sin, he bought us forgiveness for it. even nevertheless you will possibly be cured of a few illnesses, you nonetheless go through the indicators till the ailment is abated. He carried out the miracles as a demonstration from God that he replaced into the Christ, the Messiah, and on a similar time as he did those issues in front of the individuals, many chosen to no longer have self belief. there is not any blindness, or disease, or loss of life in Heaven. till Jesus returns, and establishes his reign in the worldwide, this is the devil's turf. there is the place the afflictions come from.

Good thought. Well, I think he could have. I mean if he could have lived through the teenage years and through his twenties without sinning then I think he could resist the rest of his life.

But obviously, we don't really know, do we?

It wasn't impossible for Jesus to sin. Otherwise Jesus wasn't ever really tempted was he?
