tonight we had a party and he slept the whole time in the middle of the floor? he didn't move AT ALL!? he let any and everyone pick him up as well? i don't get it! is he sick?? he DID eat and he IS using the litter box and interacting with our other cats... please help i need to make sure my baby is ok!!!
OH! I also checked his gums and tongue- everything is normal and pink? no yellows or whites - just pink? but he's sooooo sleepy and i'm sooo scared

Sounds like the cat needs to be checked by the vet. Whenever your cat is acting abnormal it usually means something is wrong. Kudos for saving his life!

I wouldn't worry. He probably isn't sick, if you checked all of the signs correctly. I used to have a cat that was very scared of people, but I had a party too and he feel asleep on a stranger's lap! Don't worry about it. Cats can sleep up to 22 hours a day. Good luck!

I think curling up and being as passive as possible was your kitty's way of coping the stress of all those new people. Next time. when you have a party, keep all your cats confined in one bedroom - away from all the people noise and hoo-haas. It stresses them you know and stress can trigger various illnesses in cats. If you want to show of your kitties (as I do), take your guests a few at a time to see them inside the bedroom where you've confined them. This makes it easier for the cats... and ultimately, for you.

if your worried take him to the vet just for a check up but i have a older cat and he loves to sleep sleep sleep just because hes getting older just keep an eye on him for a while dont worry too much hes probly skishish because mabey someone hert him in the past treated him bad or did something to him but now that you have him i wouldnt worry as far as your party unless it was one wild party i wouldnt worry about them giving your cats pills or something everyone is just saying that to scare you my cats 9 he sleeps all day till hes ready to go outside then i wont see him again till hes hungry or tired it s a while before i see him again does he have all his shots rabiys and distemper then hes fine cats dont get sick much they usaually are pretty healthy and holld there own . most of the time right now my silly cat has his head between my computer desk while his body is on my couch he keeps looking at me but hes sleeping now

Are you sure no one at your party gave him any pills of any sort? take him to the vet asap
