You *are* aware of the obvious fact in Genesis that the "earth was without form and void." The earth itself was in existence before God reshaped it and placed Adam and Eve in the Garden.
Some people think that it's very possible that dinosaurs and other such critters roamed the first earth. For whatever reason, they were wiped out when the earth was made void (empty.) A meteor strike could easily account for a lot of things -- the destruction of life, making the earth's continents without form, and allowing the creation of fossils.
And incidentally, I don't remember anywhere that the Bible talks about Adam and Eve seeing gigantic creatures. Could you give us a reference? Thanks.

Andeeeee-eeeee-eeee-ee-e.....e..., AHEM..., first off - scientists "believe" that a meteor smacked the earth and wiped out the dinosaurs. While there is evidence of meteors kissing the Earth, its just a "hypothesis" as to what killed the dinosaurs - that being the biggest guestimation among many theories (hypothesis) hanging out there on a limb.
And it may have killed off the biggest chunk of the dinosaur population with stragglers hanging on during the period of mankind. The Biblical evidence does not show hordes of dinosaurs, but instances of some dinosaurs.., so that would be consistent.
Or you can go ahead and accept by faith that the Scientific hypotheses of a meteor doing in all dinosaur existence all in one pop.., or you can pick and choose one of the other scientific possibilities. Its entirely up to you. I'm certainly not going to waste my time trying to force you to believe in anything.

The Bible does not speak of Adam and Eve seeing giagantic creatures.
Plus, according to the overwhelming evidence the homo sapien species did not exsist during the time of the dinos.
Therefore, Adam and Eve were not created yet or had not come into exsistence yet at the time of a supposed meteor strike.
Of course assuming that such a meteor did hit and cause such damage and the resulting extinction of the dinos.
There are other theories you know.

There was no meteor. You'll notice that scientists have no actual evidence that a meteor ever struck the Earth. They just assume that it must have because some global catastrophe killed all the dinosaurs at a certain time. After all, it's not like anything else could have killed all those dinosaurs... like, say, a FLOOD...

I do not think the Bible says that 'leviathans' were dinosaurs.
Besides it is the 'meteor THEORY"
What you been reading?
