I am an elite cross country and track runner, would I have a hard time? Not bragging here, just want to know what I may have trouble with that isn't strength oriented.

There is hard physical training for both strength and endurance, which you say you have, but doing it with a very heavy pack takes different muscles. One of the highest needs is to be able to be an effective member of a team, as well as the strength and often looked mental abilities. You will not find any "dumb Jocks" as a SEAL.

First, you have to survive BUDS training. If you get through that, you apply for the SEAL program.

My friend (when I was in the Navy) was tough as a rock...he came back from BUDS early a broken man.

Well, not broken, but BUDS was too tough, and this kid worked out like no other.

It's more of a mental toughness. They don't need that many people, and lots want in, so you have to prove yourself above the others.

everything u never want to do... 10k runs every day, stuff like that. but if ur going to become a seal u really need to be in top shape. Imagine hs football practice times 5 everyday and having to live there 2
