Image is important... I mean, he doesn´t have to be Brad Pitt, but you need to feel attracted by that person (I mean, it´s a question of taste, and there's no accounting for it).
What you HAVE to jnow (and always remember) is that when you get older, the "image" disappears, and what´s left is the inside, what you have and feel inside your heart, and your personality. This is what finally counts!
Good luck 4 you!!

Yes...I think to a certain extent it does. How people see you as a couple and how you interact together in public. That all accounts for something. However, public and private are different. It all depends on the couple. I just want to be happy and express that image to others.

When you love someone image is not as big a deal. People do gain weight, dress a little more casual, etc. But I think it is nice to still be sexy and care about how you look. But you sure don't have to be embarressed anymore about how you look in the morning.

Yes, but I think image can change as you get to know ones personality.

image has nothing to do with love but you must be physically attracted to the person before you can say that that you really love the person.

To those that guage themselves by their image, it matters very much. It is their motivation button.

To some, Power/control is their motivation button.

Still others are motivated by riches, not what riches can buy, Having riches is their motivation button.

Lastly, and only a very small percentage, they are motivated by survival self reliance. Adrenal rushes push their motivation button.

to an extent, but in love, you can't tell the person to change, nor should they have to, if they're really loved, then whatever they may look like is on them, and if they're willing to change it's fine, but image has nothing to do with love...

In a way. When you love someone, there's gotta be some kind of attraction, most importantly inner attraction. But, everyone gets their source of attraction their own way; and I'd say that would be one.
