angrygramma: Yup, paying for my own. Although it's a masters degree, so there isn't a major per se.

I think you should go study the partition function. Tripped me up on my last thermo exam - too many variations. Damn macro-canonical ensambles.

The anonymity of this forum lets the bad out of some. Everyone I have ever known has not been perfect nor will ever be. The older I get, the more laid back I get about life and seeing things in a broader way. Times too short for someone to rip on a stranger for anything. Ain't gonna get you a front row seat in heaven. ( not that I got that coming anyhow) Meanness hits all of us at one time or another. Controlling it or doing away with it is what we should be shooting for.

You should study for the exam, but I usually am doing something other than homework... now is an example :).

Particles... PV=NRT Cp h20= 4.184g/degrees Celsius (I think... Chem II was last year for me :( ).

Oh, and science is not an enemy of Christianity, if that was what you were implying :). I am a Christian, and I love science.

Does your Dawkins think I should study for a FSM exam or tool around on Yahoo Answers?

Particles have no mass, and they have no size that can be determined.

Well, okay they have mass, but it's a rather iffy kind of mass, if you get my drift.

Oh and by the way, there is no god. If you're looking for god among the particles, don't bother.

I'll tell you what's really cool: isostasy.

A degree is just a tool.An enginneering masters who fails to design is worthless.I study theological studies and look to God for real indepth knowledge and wisdom.I`m not like my family who succeeded at engineering inventions or money is because God chose me not to.My family get`s knowledge;because I pray for their prosperity. You can study your tail off all your life and not prosper dirt poor if you don`t have God or Godly influence.

You should study entropy and enthalpy, but alas you are probably hooked on these pages like me.

By the way, what does thermodynamics predict for the end of the universe?

Particles are being designed or programmed to do or be exactly of it's nature so us humans can spend hours upon hours racking our brains to figure out God's invention. Good enough, yes?

My God created every atom in the universe and set the laws of their interaction into place. Maybe you ought to ask Him to give you good understanding and clear recollection tomorrow of what you're studying tonight.

The person paying your tuition thinks you should study....

If you're paying for your own schooling you chose the wrong major.
