Even though I wash my face at night, I wake up with about 10-15 small white heads on my chin. I don't wear a lot of make-up. I'm 31, and I've never experienced this before. What gives?? Can it be due to hormonal changes?

P.S. - I use a gentle wash, acne wash and toner/pore reducer.

Try this for acne:

Accutane-an antibiotic and Ziana- a new acne gel. See your dermotologist. Also wash face with cool or cold water, never hot. And never use scrubs or toners, they aggravate acne. Use a mild cleanser and mositurizer like Cetaphil.

Best Wishes

Okay, hormonal changes, yes. I NEVER had acne as even a teenager, now I get it!!! 1st, don't sleep in your make-up! Wash it off completely with a facial wash for normal skin. Use hot water to open pores and get it clean deep down. Use an astringent next with a cotton ball. End the process with a toner that will restore the skin to its proper ph level and call it a night.

Yes! Just to let you know, you can have problems with your reproductive system and not even know it. Unless you're having other symptoms, this probably isn't the problem.

You could just be reacting to the cleanser. Try switching to another. If that doesn't help, see a dermatologist.

Yes, hormone changes/imbalance is your face's worst enemy. After washing your face at night, try swabbing it with an astringent.

my guess would be no not becuase of hormones. if u rest ur chin on ur hands a lot then that could cause them because of the bacteria on ur hands. if thats so just stop resting ur chin on ur hands and the problem should clear up.
