He will never be able to understand our pain and mortality. Sending Jesus to hang out for a few days is nothing either compared to the suffering of humanity. What is suffering on the cross compared a life time of suffering with a mental disorder. Or going hungry your entire life while being raped on a regular basis.(this happens in Africa) Can God honestly share that pain?

Yes a few days compared to our existence. His time here is nothing. Compared to our time here.

Nope.
Coming down and playing dress up like a real human doesn't count....he still knows he's god. That makes all the difference in the world.
Not much of a sacifice, plus it doesn't seem that he learned anything down here..
Luckily, it's all just fairy tales.

God is not responsible for our pain, we are most of the time; either individually or collectively.

When will the world realize that God is a loving scientists from Planet H (Heaven); a planet formed shortly after the Universe was formed, and consequently 8 billion times more advanced than us; scientifically, technologically, and evolutionarily. He has a non interference stipulation from his COG (council of government). Only if we ask in prayer will he communicate by mental telepathy. He is rather powerful but not all powerful, his computers have a reconstruction formula for each of us, blah blah blah.

you forgot or don't know that Jesus, while hanging on the cross, everything got dark and Jesus took upon himself all the sins of the world... sickness , disease, lying, guilt.. everything... he felt EVERYTHING so he would understand. The reason it went dark was because Jesus was suffering physically and mentally in this time and it wasn't to be seen. Can you imagine what you would look like if you took just the disease in the world at one time?

Yes God hurts so much when after creating us people just turn around and sin against him, when Christ died on the cross he suffered 150 blows on his head, 108 blows on his stomache, 80 kicks on his shoulders, spit in the face 180 times, he was beaten on the body 6666 times, beaten on the head 110 times, 3 mortal thorns in his head, 1000 wounds on the body, 1008 people mocked him, and he lost 28,430 drops of blood.....do you think that you could handle all that and more and still ber forgiving?????

Is God able to understand our suffering?????

-Yes, and God said he(Jesus) was going to do nothing, like help people personally as in a person is missing his arms and legs and the jesus touches him and wam!, his arms and legs are back, and Jesus wasn't going to do that kind of stuff until he permanently returned. Basically if you believe in God and believe that Jesus is the son of God and died on the cross for us and believe in everything that God said, then you will be fine and nothing will happen to you in the first place.

-Oh and Jesus was here for more than a few days, more like 33 years.

OH AND PLEASE DON'T GO BY THAT STUPID "The Passion of Christ," MOVIE THAT MEL GIBSON MADE. I WATCHED 10 MINUTES OF THAT MOVIE BEFORE TAKING IT OUT OF MY DVD PLAYER BECAUSE OF THE BULL $HIT IN IT. HA, Jesus was like whimpering "God what should I do, boo hoo?" HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!! Nobody tells Jesus what to do Jesus tell them and Jesus and God are one.

Every Good deeds come from God and every bad deeds are the actions of Man.Why do u qns God before u qns the action of Mankind. u expect God to do this and that..but what about urself. waht efforts have u done that deserves the right to question God in a way of blasphemy! sometimes i really dun understand especially ppl who r well educated but act so dumb! for africa..dun tok about it..God has given them a gift of a natural resource to aid them in surviving jus like God has given the middle east oil to survive in this world. But greed and selfishness has caused em to abuse God's gifts so they r nw paying the consequences of their own actions! God nvr punished em, they themselves make it happens and juz blame it on others and u make God the scapegoat. Think before u decree such remarks abt God if u noe none at all about God's deeds

that is a complex question that would not make sense to someone who does not have the teaching or understanding of life beyond the now. Atheist deal and see things on the level of the here and now, while believers see things on the level of now and then

Try reading the Old Testament.

And since when does "share the pain" "understand our pain" or Clinton's famous "I feel your pain" ever STOP the pain. Stop typing and go volunteer somewhere and you'll get the idea of what God understands.

He understands our pain.
God never bares more on a person that he can handle.
Those people who suffer like that are stronger people
and...God see's this big picture...Not just today, or this year.

I have a problem with this.

The following is my beliefs.

God created us, She shaped us. The fire of Her divine breath is the life within us. She dwells within all of us, yet She is seperate. We are part of Her, but not Her.

God does understand and feel suffering. And She carries it with us. She is my strength - and my peace. She feels everything that happens to me, and to all of creation. She does not get a choice to feel it one incident at a time - but all at once.

She suffers with us - but only we can stop suffering. Because we created it in the first place.

And yes - I have truly suffered. I don't lead a charmed life. Wish I did, but I don't.

But I also have limitless hope because She dwells within me. And deep serenity.

Do you?
