My husband is the biggest BABY ever. He has been in bed since Thurs. mooring. He keeps asking for stuff every 20 minuets. Like get me the remote (which is on the night stand ) , for something to eat (then does not eat it ) , for something to drink (when there is a drink next to him ) . He is sleeping most of the day, then up most of the night. While I am sleeping, he keeps wakening me, so we can talk. His Mom called to see how I was !!! I told her I was going to bring him to her house !! She said NO WAY IN HE*L!! You keep him, Hess your now !!!
So my question is if I smother him with his pillow, would that be considered justified homicide?

if you had a married female judge you could get off with probation .. maybe..... LOL
Men don't do... sick
Mine had the flu and kept calling me every 15 mins..... every time it was something, another pillow, the remote, more tea... omg
the 8th time I went to the bedroom to see what he wanted.. he said... I think I'm going to be sick....I said..GET OUT OF MY BED!!!!
he made it to the bathroom in time, but was really upset with me.
I told him that I had had the flu 2 weeks before and had made sure the kids were off to school, his dry cleaning was picked up, and dinner was made.
So, since I didn't want to get sick again, I think it would be a good idea for me to leave for a few days... he can get the kids ready for school, I'm sure. there is enough food in the freezer, he just needs to heat things up.. He can handle it.
I was gone for 30 minutes when my 10 year old daughter called me. She wanted me to come back and get her. LOL

My husband use to be terrible about this. But, he would sleep mostly until I started bringing him dayquil. Then he looked at me and said "this is what I would've felt like for the past few days if I had only taken this medicine!?"
I mean, I don't know what kind of sickness we are talking about but taking the proper meds can sometimes do wonders.

My fiance does the same thing when he's sick. I think that guys just don't want to admit that they like to be pampered, so when they're sick it gives them a good excuse.
And I think the pillow-smothering thing is justified as self-defense against your sanity!!

My hubby had surgery last year and was home for FOUR MONTHS!!!!!! I began to spend alot of time at work (I hated my job) and tryed to get people to come over and play cards with him or at least call him on the phone and keep him busy so I could have a few minutes of peace once-in-a-while. So things could be worse.

Tell him that he has to stay awake during the day.
Don't let him sleep during the day - wake him up if he seems to doze off. Then, when he's exhausted, he'll steep throught the night. This is standard treatment for a toddler who stays awake all night. Use it on your big baby.

sounds good to me, you could also trying slipping something into one of those drinks to help him sleep. Knock him out and then you relax. Or give him a over the counter sleeping pill and tell him it is for his cold, or whatever he has. If none of the above work, smothering is good. LOL

Tell him to man up and quit being a wuss!!
When he starts begging for this and that, remind him that he's not a quadroplegic and he can damned well get it himself!!
When he starts bugging you at night, tell him to shut the hell up because you need to sleep!!
Remind him that single guys (like me) don't have anybody to wait on us hand and foot when WE'RE sick - so he should quit being a big baby and act like a grown man!!!!

I think all men are babies when they're sick. I think their mothers mothered them a bit much. My husband is exactly the same way, so I feel your pain. I told my husband that next time he gets sick he's going to his mother's or the hospital. I'm not putting up with anymore bs. What is up with these ment???!!!

haha I saw this once on the tv show with tim allen, HOME IMPROVEMENT... all you need to do, is give him, not only ALL the attention in the world, but TOO MUCH attention to the point of being compeltey and totally annoying...he will want you to back off, and it will give him a reality check...
