There's this girl, and I love her to death... She's pretty much my best friend and we tell eachother everything... I have feelings for her, and she has the same for me... She's always telling me how amazing i am, and how much fun she has with me... but we're both afraid that if we did ever go out, that we would loose eachother as friends... We have both had this happen to us in our past relationships, and i would die if i lost her too... If you could please help me, it would be greatly appreciated...

its one of them what if situations. if you dont try going out and having a relationship then you would be kicking your self later on for not trying, so you might as well just try it. and dont repeat the same mistakes you did in the past. you never know what might happen. best wishes to you.

Well- let's consider the options.
Option #1- you stay friends, and are forever dissatisfied because you love eachother and want to have a deeper relationship. Eventually, if she really wants a relationship with someone, you may lose her to another guy who asks her out.
Option #2- you ask her out. Maybe it won't work- maybe it'll be weird or maybe you'll realize it was more fun being friends. Or maybe it will! Maybe you guys are soulmates and will ultimately end up together. But you'll never know until you give it a chance! Life is all about chances, and it sounds like this girl is a chance worth taking. So be a man, and go after what you want. "It is better to have loved and lost then to have never loved at all."

I think it's really all about communication. You both are obviously into each other and it seems that you both want to see what it would be like to start dating each other. Just talk it out and agree on giving it a shot, and also agree that no matter what happens, you will remain as friends. Remember that old addage "it's better to have loved and lost than to not have loved at all." ? It would be ashame if you guys had a future together but were too afraid to try and fail.--good luck!

alright this is how i look at it: obviously u r both wayyyyyyy into eachother... u can still "go out" and treat eachother the same way u do now along with the kissing and everything else that comes along with a relationship. also.. if things start going sour u can always say "hey i liked it better when we were best friends" and that will end the relationship but it will also keep u from hating eachother.

I say why waste time. It is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. You will not know what you have unless you try. How do you know that it will fail? My best relationship started out as a friendship. Should not your mate be your best friend? Go for it.

If the two of you get along this great, maybe she is your sole mate. Maybe the two of you are ment to be together. Give it a try or continue to ask yourself "what if?". Since you both talk about everything, it shouldn't be hard to come to an agreement that if it doesn't work out, you can still be friends. Sole mates are VERY hard to find.

aw u r very sweet. well maybe if u do start dating, u can still be friends. just keep talking about the stuff u would normally talk about. it probably won't change. just remember that u can always keep a friendship. ok? i hope the best for u and ur friend. â¥â¥â¥â¥â¥â¥â¥â¥â¥â¥â¥â¥â¥â¥â¥â¥â¥â¥â¥â¥â¥â¥â¥â¥â¥â¥â¥â¥â¥

You have what most relationships don't.....a solid friendship! That is what is important. You want a best friend, and it is so much easier to love your best friend. Embrace this, you are blessed!

Get over it. If you like her company that much, you would really like going out with her. My husband and were friends. We went out and ended up married.

Stay friends untill you are ready to get married. Then ask het to marry you. Otherwise, I think you made the right choice.
