There is the alb, the surplice, the cassock, the stole, etc, etc

Dear me, it sounds like you didn't read any of the material. Is that possible? Too much time on YA? St. Ignatius is the Society of Jesus, Jesuits. Communion for the dying is Viaticum. Priest wear many layers. First a Alb, the white thing is called this. Then they put on a girdle, that is the cord belt. Then the stole, this is the long narrow thing with a design in it. And last the Chasuble, the thing that looks like a poncho. If it is a very high mass the priest might also wear a maniple, but this rarely happens. This is a strip of material on the left arm near the wrist.
