When ever I eat and swallow something I get this sharp pain right bellow the middle of my ribcage. It has just started this morning and I'm not sure what is wrong with me. Can someone tell me what might be the problem?

I would schedule an appointment with your doctor.

Could be one of many things like a hernia or gallbladder problems(right side) or pancreatitis. Or even a tumor. If it's the gallbladder, it'll usually be worse after eating fatty or fried foods
.Get the doctor to check you out if these symptoms persist or worsen. Don't delay.

It could be an ulcer but only your doctor can tell you that for sure.
