I don't really think you should get your idea from Yahoo answers.I'm hoping it is a joke. A tattoo is permanent and think about that "ink" on your back 10, 15, 20, 40 years from now. I think there a ton of people who regret some cartoon character tattoo, but maybe I'm wrong.
I have 2 and they are very personal. It took me a long time to figure out what I wanted and I love both of them.
What means a lot to you and only you? Some thing, phrase or picture that expresses your persona?

I suggest you don't get anything for a while and wait until something really hits you. You will regret getting a tattoo just for the sake of getting one! Don't go for anything lame or too trendy. Lame, trendy tattoos are boring and pointless. I don't have a tattoo and probably won't ever get one. However, the ones that I like on other people are the ones that have intricate and beautiful design. I like ones that are different and have a story behind them, a meaning or interest that pertains to the person. You can tell by the tattoo the people who get one just for the sake of getting one!

PS- DON'T get a zodiac sign unless you deeply believe in astrology. Getting your own name tattooed is lame.

This is a very personal decision. If you are not sure, then you are not ready for a tattoo on your back yet. A tattoo is a symbol of who you are, not what the internet tells you to be. Go to an art museum or look through art books for inspiration.

Do you have other tattoos or other ideas for where to put them. Just wanting a tattoo in a certain place isn't really going to get you anywhere. I suggest finding images that have meaning to you, or if you are set on a phrase find one with REAL meaning, not some dumbass lyric or phrase that everyone else is going to have.

Only you know what is deep to you, Wait until you just know, do not listen to anyone else but look inside yourself. You will know the moment it hits you, I have one tat and the moment i knew i just knew. Since then i have wanted another one and until now 3 years later, it hit me again. This tattoo represents you dont let anyone tell you what to get....

I would think about this long and hard man because this decision will be with you FOREVER. At the beach when you are 40, are you going to be ashamed of this decision? Probably. I would DEFINATELY go with a smaller tat somewhere less prominent. Think about it.

make sure you really think about what you decide to put on your back because it will be there forever. also, make sure it means something to you and symbolizes how you feel about something that way there is meaning behind it. i have a small tattoo on my lower stomach/hip area in Chinese that symbolizes hope. i thought a long time about what i wanted, where i wanted it, and what it meant. it is a lifelong decision so make sure its really what you want! :o)

It means seize the day. It's another way of saying live today as if you'll die tomorrow.
