Okay, I have found out recently that I love softball. I also want to lose about 10 pounds. Would softball be able to help me lose all that extra flab?

probably not, softball is not really a cardiovascular exercise. Think about it, they have bar leagues and half the guys play while they drink. It does give you some exercise, but i would run, swim, bike, or some other form of exercise as well

Softball or any other aerobic exercise will help you lose weight.

Stop stuffing your face with twinkies and ding dongs and start jogging to build your stamina, lifting weights to build your strength, and practice at the batting cages.

If you work hard than you MIGHT be able to turn that "flab" into muscle.
