how do you turn on your javascript software when you cant play videos in youtube???

Youtube doesn't use Java, it uses FlashPlayer.

You probably do not have the java JRE installed. Go to Java.com and install the Java Runtime Environment .

depending on your browser, but should be something like
tools -> options -> content -> allow javascript
