Why when my man walks in the room my heart rate goes up? I just noticed that everytime my boy friend walks in a room that im in I just get excited and I start getting hot and my heart goes nuts.... WHY???????

short answer cause either you are in love with him or he makes you nervous in a good way. Long answer would have to do with how your brain responds to that person what chemicals are being distributed throughout your body and the adrenaline gland the effects of it on the heart and other muscles.

first the excitement of seeing him after a long wait.second you would have planned to talk or do something to get his attention.third, will he accept or regect? all these makes your heart pound,may be thats why they call thier love 'heartthrob'
