DUDE, listen VERY carefully !

I have the KICKER L7 SoloBarics. You specifically need to wire up BOTH voice coils to an Amplifier that puts out a clean 400 watts RMS (or greater).

- for solo barics you also wanna be sure you have an amplifier that's 1 OHM stable.

I recomend you consider the ROCKFORD FOSGATE T1001BD. It will give you 1000 RMS (1 ohm load). There are other amps out there like Kicker and Audiobahn but I REALLY recommend the T1001BD.

it sounds like the L7 is a dual 4 ohm speaker and they wired it internally to show 2 ohms coming out of the box so you want a amp that is 2 ohms at 1 channel in the 500-600 watt range.go to onlinecarstereo.com they have a lot of amps to choose from from many different makers and good prices and they have reviews too!

Well the power will be up to you, but is the amp only going to be used for that sub and not other speakers in you car there is no need on buying a high priced one. Myself I have a 1000w amp 4ch. made by Legacy, and have no problems with it (it is 5yrs old)

I might suggest going with an amp that has more than 500w, but don't go for more than 750w if your just using the one sub. You dont want to blow your sub.

No more than 550 watts RMS @ 2 ohm.

Be sure the amp you buy is CEA-2006 compliant.
