First of all girl scout cookie season is not over in TN. If you could have them at your disposal year round would you still want them? Would X-mas be fun year round?
Buy lots of boxes and try to make em last.
Good luck!

I don't agree. In my opinion, Girl Scout cookies are more expensive than and worse tasting than many other cookies on the market. Many people love them, of course, but many others just buy them as a favor to the girls or their parents. If they were sold year round, the novelty of buying them once a year would wear off and nobody would want to buy them anymore except those people who really love them.

supply & demand. By only offering them at one time/year they build up the desire & you buy more than if you could get them whenever you liked. Also, remember that almost all Girl Scout & Brownie troops meet through their schools, so it takes a few months to get new girls into the swing of things & the rhythm of the troop & they need to be done, and have the money collected, before school lets out in the Spring.

I know I wouldn't buy 6 boxes at once if they were sold year-round, only 1, if any. You get so few in a box anyway. I think the seasonal sales take advantage of people who feel warmly towards charitable children's groups and who will buy more than they normally would of Chips Ahoy or Oreos.
