I don't have any money so I can't go out and buy diet pills or plans or anything. But I do have a treadmill and a weights machine. I really need to lose this weight so please, no comments about how unhealthy this is.

Depending upon your current weight and etc... it actually may not be possible for you to do so, unhealthy or not. . . The more overweight you are, the easier and closer you will be able to come to this strenuous goal of a 30 lb loss. You don't need diet pills, trainer, or anything of the sort. What you do need is will power, determination, and time. You wanna stay away from the weights for a quick weight loss, because you'll only hulk up, putting on more muscle weight, with perhaps not burning fat, but building underneath it. Cardio is the best route, or just plain walking/jogging. I've lost a lot of weight myself and that's where all this comes from. Here's the best plan and really, the quickest way..But you'll have to really stick to the routine to get results, no give ins or succumbing to guilty pleasures.

1. Wake up early! 1st thing : Go for a walk/jog, go as much as you can go b4 ur too uncomfortable, but remember, no pain no gain. I suggest an hour to start with.
2. Eat a healthy breakfast. Maybe some Total or Special K (in correct proportions w/ Skim Milk and no added sugar). You could add a cup of yogurt to it, or a peice of fruit.
3. Continue with whatever you need to do, NO SNACKING
4. Within 4 hours, Stick with a fairly light lunch (Salad w/ fat free or vinegarette dressing? and some extra veggies), NO SODAS, not even diet. Try to stay away from other sugary drinks like juices and kool-aid, etc.... Water is your best friend right now. Try drinking a 20 oz water b4 lunch time , to fill u up, so that you don't eat as much. Walking b4 a meal also helps to calm ur appetite.
5. Continue with your job or w/e some more...
6. Walk 15 minutes and drink a 20 oz water if possible. Then eat dinner (should be even lighter than lunch) within 4 hours of your lunch... typically running a B-fast at 8, lunch at 12, and dinner at 4 schedule... If dinner at 4 isnt gonna work, try a snack about 2 or 3 , like a fruit or yogurt cup, and eat dinner as soon as possible, try before 6, but definetly not after 7. Eating later will not help you lose weight, it'll work against you. . .
7. Get plenty of good sleep. Sleeping does burn calories you know!

Remember, starving doesnt work, it might for a week, but after that, you're just killing yourself, and staying fat. Eat smaller meals with smaller portions, with smaller gaps in between.... Exercise , preferably with some type of cardio (walking on a treadmill would be satisfactory) as much as possible. Be sure to stay dehydrated though. If constipation becomes a problem or water retention, try a mild laxative or diuretic, but don't over do it, one a week is plenty for the laxative if neccessary, the diuretics simply good for PMS time and the menstrual cycle....provided your a woman... lol.....

I'd be glad to help you in any way possible, cheer you on, and I'd love to hear how you're doing with your weightloss.

Losing a pound of fat requires a 3500 calorie deficit. Therefore, losing a pound of fat in 1 week requires a 500 Calorie/day deficit. Losing 30 lbs in 30 days will require a 1750 Calorie/day deficit. If you try to lose weight this fast, much of what you lose will probably be muscle and water which will lower your resting metabolic rate and cause you to gain the weight back and then some. I recommend using proper nutrition and exercise to lose the weight at a more sane rate. I apologize for not telling you what you want to hear.

Hi,

You probably can start by watching your diet (take more fruits and veg, less meat, seafood and carbo.. drink juices for breakfast) and exercising more using your machines ;)

But maybe you should ask yourself this, if you already have the equipment, why are you not using it?

Why would you NOT have the money to lose weight if this is important to you?

Do you really want to lose weight or are you just thinking about it? ;)

Does staying at this weight give you more happiness than losing the 30lbs?

U can go on a whats call "protine" diet.

What to eat --> Eat fish, egg white, chicken breast (sometime only) and thats it.

Liquids = drink A LOT of water and high protine energy drinks.

Workout= alot of cardio for 2 weeks. then weight lifting (low weights and hight rep;s ONLY! IE. curls 20lbs 50 times X3

Its tough but can be done!

Cut out the fats and sugars and eat foods high in protein and of course fruits and veggies. Exercise every day to keep your metabolism burning. Whatever you do, don't stop eating as this will slow your metabolism down and you will defeat the purpose of your regiment.

without surgery it really isnt possible unless you are SEVERLY overweight.

I lost 15lbs in 4 weeks, but I ate 1000 calories a day and worked out 2 hours a day.

Set yourself a realistic goal.

Have surgery. This is a completely unrealistic amount of weight to loose that quickly.
