I want to say: "they are arranged according to priority"

I think there is a better expression. (some word used instead of according)

they are arranged in order of priority.

Maybe:
"They are arranged by priority"
"They are arranged by importance"
"They're in order of priority"
"They're in order of importance"
Take your pick:)

It would be more simple to say "They are arranged by priority" but there isn't a problem with the way you said it the first time.

You could also try "This list is prioritized."
