This is a difficult question, as most places have something of interest.
I would first suggest chellek and -Kay- to take China out of their "no-visit" list. I currently live in Shanghai and China is a fabulous place.
Irak, although in time of war now, has a great cultural heritage. I would not go there now but would not strike it out when (if) it becomes safer.
I cannot possibly strike out any travel destination, I am afraid. Each place is special, and the more different it is from your own culture, the more you learn about yourself. Traveling is a journey inward, instead of being afraid of other cultures we should learn from them.
To answer your question the best I can i'll tell you:

That was a "suggesting" not telling people what to do. I live in China and think people have a wrong negative view on this country. At least the post was trying to be informative and share experiences, rather than you spamming other people who take time to answer.
